Desktop sidebar, and smitten by the iBook

Downloaded something called the "Desktop Sidebar" yesterday. An unobtrusive bar on the edge of the monitor, which has different panels that show stuff like mem usage, cpu usage, unread mails in outlook, stocks, time, etc :). Looks useful.. trying it now to see how much it improves productivity (and, gives a chance to spend time 'researching' for 'useful' plugins :D ) .

One of my friends is getting a Powerbook.. and did some surfing, and have fallen in love with "the iBook". Gotta go and check the exact price, features etc this weekend.

Got to know DDLJ is back in theatres... one of my favourite movies.. and brings back some memories.. standing in the queue for tickets, the unexpected crowd... the scooter getting wet in rain, and having to push it for close to 4 kms, in rain...
Planning to pop in to theatre this weekend, and hope the rain stays away this time, at least till I get back home :).

And, both the movie theatre and the Mac shop are in the same complex :). Two birds in one stone....
